May news London Trip

Wishes from my life goals…. At least partly achieved

As a young single mum I set myself goals as I approached certain ages,

When I had just found out I was pregnant with my daughter, I visited London for the weekend with my close friend and our boys, it was so lovely, it was nearly Christmas time and every shop window was decorated.

I said to myself that I would love to come back and visit again, the national Gallery, Trafalgar square, Covent Garden.

I didn’t think I would ever be able to have the finances to do this but this weekend I did!

I have been away this past weekend and got to do things I would have normally skipped, had I been in company with other people,

I stayed in a beautiful hotel, and had a luxurious bedroom.

I spent the early day wandering through Covent Garden and seeing some amazing crafts, I treated myself to some jewellery.

I got to stroll in the park at the houses of parliament, stood in the pathway of Westminster Abbey and took photographs of St Margeret’s Chapel where Sir Walter Raleigh laid to rest. I walked to Big Ben and then crossed to the River and took photographs of the newly built London Eye!

Each pod type capsule, full of visitors looking across the city, enjoying the warm breezy evening.

It was a beautiful evening and the architecture of years gone by shone brightly.

The next day I went to Trafalgar Square and took some pictures of the fountains which had been cleaned up and restored, then climbed the stairs and spent nearly two hours in the National Gallery, walking through rooms filled with so many artists work I had only read about or learned about from television or way back in school,. This was my favourite part of the whole trip were visiting a tourist attraction that holds so much heritage and history of our country, and other countries of Europe.

As I walked round doing the normal bit of shopping I was overcome with empowerment. I loved how much I had grown spiritually and how much I had achieved in my life.

My two children were grown and I had begun with a freedom in my heart and soul I thought I would never achieve.

I had always wanted to share my written work with people outside my close circle of friends and family, last year I achieved this and built a website showing some of my work, I am so pleased that I had the courage to do this….

This was one life goal I have always wanted the next step is to become a published author.

I have had some traumatic experiences in my life and I know this has made and moulded me into the person I am.

My spiritual beliefs have grown immensely and feeling blessed by my gift I am truly shocked at times when I do my readings or pick up on energy in a room or where I worked I knew if there was tension.

I am blessed so very much, I was enthralled with the internet and excited when I found that there was a new ‘blog’ culture out there. I have some truly amazing friends out there across the virtual web waves.

There are still a couple of life goals I want to complete before I get older, one is to fly in a Helicopter, but also to go up in a hot air balloon.

I am so thankful for my life right now. I am learning to live in the moment to enjoy the present it is surely a gift from God.
